Honda 0 Series Concept Electric SUV: Details
Honda is calling the 0 Series SUV, the Space-Hub and as seen in the teaser image it is the same vehicle that debuted last year, however, this time, we will get to see them in real. Although these are just concept prototypes, we will get a good idea of what to expect from the final production version.
Honda 0 Series Concept Electric SUV: Powertrain
Being fully electric, the 0 Series line-up will rely on an electric powertrain and as per the details available, the models will get two battery pack options i.e. 80 kWh and 90 kWh. The estimated range will go up to 480 kilometres on a single charge. The battery packs will feature NMC chemistry.
Talking about the underpinnings, Honda has already given away a few details and we now know that the 0 Series line-up will get a single and dual motor powertrain setup, giving the electric cars both rear-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive capabilities.

In addition to this, Honda’s new compact e-axles will be a part of the package which will be mounted lower in the car, thereby leveraging more space on all four corners which will ultimately help in a sleeker design and lighter body construction. These aspects will help to enhance the electric driving range of the cars.
Initially, there will be a base-spec model with a 245 bhp motor mounted on the rear axle. In addition to this, the dual motor setup will have two versions, one with AWD and another one with 4WD, using an additional 68 bhp motor on the front axle.
Honda 0 Series Electric SUV will likely get the 4WD configurations while other cars could come with AWD capabilities. The battery pack will be positioned under the floorboard of the 0 Series models.
