2025 Bajaj Chetak Electric Scooter 35 Series: The New Underpinnings
While the Chetak may seem similar on the outside, things are pretty new inside. This means that the 35 Series is based on a new platform with revised internals. The battery pack is now positioned on the floorboard, thus leveraging more space in the rear section, where the electric motor is housed. Bajaj has gone ahead and introduced a new battery pack and an updated electric motor.

Thanks to the new underpinnings, the underseat storage is larger than before, resulting in a massive 35 litres now as compared to 21 litres before. In addition to this, the wheelbase has been extended by 25mm, which has helped to increase the space on the floorboard area. If this is not enough, the overall weight of the Chetak has come down by around 3 kg.
